National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) (short for NECC)is co-built by the Ministry of Commerce 

of China and Shanghai Municipal Government and invested and operated by National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.. National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), based in the booming 

Yangtze River Delta Region, aims to serve China and the world with its cutting-edge design and well-equipped 

facilities.Its services will help promote China's economic restructuring,expedite the transformation of economic 

growth patterns, and contribute to the stable and healthy development of the Chinese economy and society.

NECC is the largest single block building and exhibition complex in the world with a total construction area of 

1.55 million square meters,among which 1.35 million square meters are above ground.

National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is slated to open officially in 2016. A multitude of 

international and domestic exhibitions will be held at the Center to make an immediate impact due to the sheer 

size and influence of these events.A cluster of services will form to cater to the exhibitions, and the Center will
